Pork, Chicken, Duck & Turkey

POULTRY

Our Cornish Cross Cockerels (broiler chickens, $4.75/lb, 3-6 lbs) and Pekin Ducks ($7.50/lb, 3-5 lbs)  are moved onto fresh grass each day and fed organic grain. Our White Large-Breasted Turkeys ($4.50/lb, 14-24lbs) are also raised with organic grain, free to roam and graze.

We are currently sold out and are taking orders for 2011. Our poultry are usually availablefrozen and are packaged whole, with heart, liver, and neck inside.

Fresh poultry available for summer and fall of 2011 if arranged in advance. We are happy to make arrangements so that you can get your chickens fresh and cut them up before freezing.Email or call to arrange a purchase, or to help us plan ahead to meet your needs next season.

Our chickens and ducks are delicious roasted, or cooked in any way you please, and the leftover bones can be made into nutritious stock. An added bonus when roasting Pekin Ducks is plenty of amazing fat for cooking with.    Click here for recipes.

PORK
Our pigs live outside, free to roam in mixed woods or pasture, foraging on plants, fungi, and all of the other great things they find in the ground. We also feed them whey, apples, pumpkins, acorns, veggies, and organic grain.  We currently have pork available by the cut or by the 20-lb package. Whole or half pigs possible if arranged in advance.
