Our smoked hams are $10/lb, boneless, maple cured, cob and maple wood smoked, by Vermont Smoke & Cure. The ham steaks are thick cut and range from 1/2lb to 1lb. The hams are nitrate-free, and weigh 4-5lbs or 2lbs.
We also have large (7-8lb) boneless fresh hams in case you would like to brine and cook your own ham. An easy and very tasty fresh ham recipe can be found here: http://www.food.com/recipe/cuban-lechon-asado-roasted-fresh-ham-114648
Our smoked hams can be eaten as they are, or warmed in an oven. The best way to reheat the ham, without drying it out, is to place it on a rack in a roasting pan. Add water to the bottom of the pan and cover the whole thing tightly with foil. Bake at 325 degrees F for 16-20 minutes per pound, until a meat thermometer registers 135 degrees F. Unwrap the ham and apply a glaze if you wish; increase the heat to 400 degrees F and bake for 15-20 minutes longer until the glaze is burnished.
Ham Steaks are available frozen and are amazing simply cooked in a frying pan from their frozen state!
